The Two Valleys

A combined trip to South Luangwa and the Lower Zambezi offers an immersive experience in the heart of Zambia's stunning landscapes and wildlife.

Starting in South Luangwa National Park, known for its rich biodiversity and high leopard population. The night drives reveal a different side of the wildlife, as the nocturnal cat species become active and get ready to hunt. The park's scenic vistas, characterized by the meandering Luangwa River and expansive savannahs, make it a photographer's paradise with lots of predator action including large prides of lions and packs of wild dogs.

After a few nights in South Luangwa, the journey continues to the Lower Zambezi National Park. The park is located along the Zambezi River, where on one side you get big herds of Elephants crossing the river and on the other side is beautiful Zambezi escarpments providing unique opportunities to get low and photograph the wildlife. Lower Zambezi is one of the best and most beautiful parks exclusively to photograph large herds of buffalo and the highly endangered Wild dogs. The winter thorn cathedrals provide ample opportunities to get “the shot” of a leopard lounging in a tree.

Both parks encapsulate the essence of Zambia’s wilderness, providing an unforgettable experience through unique wildlife sightings and breath-taking scenery. This short trip promises a deep connection with nature and a serene escape from everyday life.
